Where to stay for September Homecoming 2013

I will try to add some places to where participants might want to stay in near Waynesville, Ohio for our Homecoming event to this post.   Many of our events will take place at Miami Meeting House which is in Waynesville.  We plan to have dinner Saturday night at the Golden Lamb located in Lebanon, Ohio. Below is a map that shows some of the nearby places where lodging is available.

I am staying at the Hammel House.  It is on the main street of Waynesville so it is very convenient.  Phone:  (513) 897-3779

The Creekwood motel is right in Waynesville and would be the most convenient, but I have trouble recommending it....here is the review that it received:

Milton says that Springboro is about 10-15 miles west of Waynesville and would probably be the closest.  Trip advisor ranks the Hampton Inn as #1 of the 2 motels in Springboro.  The other is a comfort Inn that might be less expensive.  The Hampton Inn is telling me that it is a very busy weekend for them and that they have very few rooms left.  I just heard from a participant that the Hampton is fully booked for that Saturday night.  But I have found a Holiday Inn Express that is at the same exit on I75 that is considered to be in Franklin, Ohio.  The hotel tells me that they have about 28 rooms still left.  Hotel gets good reviews on TripAdvisor.  Telephone:  937-746-1094.

There is a Hampton Inn and Suites and a Holiday Inn Express in Wilmington.  Milton says that Wilmington is about 20 to 25 miles from Waynesville.  There seem to be rooms left at the Hampton which received the highest rating on trip advisor.  I could book a group of rooms and received a small discount.  Let me know if there are enough of you for me to do that.

in Lebanon, there is the Golden Lamb.  Milton says that there are several other motels in Lebanon but they are probably not as nice as the Hampton or Holiday Inn Express in Wilmington.  However, if one's budget might indicate something less expensive, they might be worth checking out as they may be cheaper.

Then we have two participants who are staying at the Best Western in Miamisburg, Ohio.

There is one more place on the map, Middletown.  There is a Days Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield Inn and a Reyton Inn that gets decent reviews and is a bit less expensive.  Milton says that Middletown is about 5 to 10 miles farther than Springboro.
